Arts & Crafts
 You’ll
notice our Arts & Crafts room by the large windows, covered proudly
with children’s artwork as well as a 6X6 foot chalkboard wall
complete with child created drawings. The area is designed for
children to create and manipulate, using their hands to express
themselves.
We match activities to the age and developmental stage
of the child as well as to a season or event. Father’s Day might
find children making personalized mugs for Daddy; a holiday such as
Easter, might provide children the opportunity to color Easter eggs;
or a birthday party might find children decorating
 kites
or stringing beads for jewelry to take home. Our room features every
type of children's craft you can imagine, including sand and water play. The
good news for parents? We provide smocks for the children and the
mess is on us!
